Plot
1985. Zubrowa’s greatest author is reminiscing about the writing of his last book. He goes back to 1968, when he went to stay at The Grand Budapest Hotel. While there he met the owner, Zero Mustapha, once the richest man in the country.
Mustapha tells him the story of his life and the hotel with which it hast always been linked. He returns to a time between the wars when he came to work as a lobby boy. There he met M. Gustave, the concierge and the life and soul of the hotel. He has close realtions with many of the guests, notably with Madame D., a wealthy old woman. When she dies the two of them travel to her mansion.

Sinopsis:
La película, dirigida por Wes Anderson, cuenta las aventuras de Gustave H (Ralph Fiennes), un conserje de un famoso hotel europeo en el período de entreguerras, y las de Zero Moustafa (Tony Revolori), el botones que se convierte en el amigo en el que más confía y en su protegido.
Todo marchaba en un relativo orden a pesar de la complicada situación económica y la inestabilidad política, hasta que se produce un serio robo, el de una valiosa pintura renacentista. La pintura es muy importante, por lo que se ocasiona un gran revuelo en el hotel y aparece la imperiosa necesidad de encontrarla. Además al mismo tiempo, también se produce en el hotel una gran disputa familiar por una fortuna. Todos los miembros se enfrentan entre sí, sin que ninguno de ellos esté dispuesto a ceder en su empeño.
